Poco occurs as country rock band started by Richie Furay (vocals & rhythm guitar) and Jim Messina (lead guitar and vocals) charted a death of Buffalo Springfield in 1968. More initial members were Rusty Young (pedal steel & dobro), George Grantham (drums & vocals) and Randy Meisner (bass and vocals). A number 1 album ''Pickin' Higher a Pieces'' was significantly delayed, and so Meisner joined Rick Nelson's Stone Canyon Band and then became the introduction member of The Eagles in 1971. Timothy B. Schmit subsequently replaced Meisner in the band. Poco (1971) and ''Deliverin' (1972) followed. Messina so left a band, existence replaced by Paul Cotton. Messina had considerable subsequent profits by having Kenny Loggins as Loggins & Messina. Fallowing 2 additional Poco albums: A Good Feelin' to Underst& and Crazy Eyes, Furay too left a band, forming a Souther Hillman Furay Band.

For Poco, a albums Seven, Cantamos, Head on top Heels, Rose of Cimarron & Indian Summer'' followed. Inside 1977, two Schmit & Grantham left; existence replaced by Steve Chapman & Charlie Harrison. Schmit joined a Eagles replacing Meisner in bass, giving a curiosity that a lot Eagles' bassists got foremost played by having Poco. A newly quartet recorded Legend which featured 'Crazy Love' & 'Heart of the Nighttime'. Kim Bullard so joined a b&, and iv additional albums: Under a Gun, Blue & Gray, Cowboys & Englishmen & Ghost Town were freed.

Furay, Schmit & Grantham keep around, since their departures, every appeared at various days by owning the b&, which has, as a unit, broken higher and re-formed a total of days. Inamorata was freed inside 1984 and Legacy within 1989 (produced by Richard Marx).
